| Hello Readers! He is very pretty and I have been waiting to show you. Not Your Book Boyfriend has a cover and a pre-order and December 1st is now a date you need in your calendar. But first — look at him. The link is below. Go look. I’ll wait. Not Your Book Boyfriend — Cover Reveal + Pre-OrderNot Your Book Boyfriend is officially available for pre-order and I am so excited to finally share this cover with you. Book two of the Not As Written series picks up right where Not Your Maniac Pixie Dream Girl left off — and it brought someone new with it.Wisteria Creed has survived the Carter case, a Fae war on her doorstep, and the discovery of what she really is. Now the city wants a task force, the Directorate wants a liaison, and the liaison wants her to feel safe.Camdan Holtson is tall, polished, perfectly attentive, and perfectly wrong. His song is a flawless scan of a person — every note in place and nobody home. He says all the right things. He remembers how she takes her coffee. He is exactly the dream boyfriend the Fae Studies Directorate ordered. Gibson doesn’t trust him. Miller wants to arrest him on principle. And Wisteria, who hears everything, can’t stop listening to the one sound Camdan doesn’t make. The clock is ticking. The money trail leads to an office that doesn’t officially exist. Eleven names in a sealed archive are all that’s left of the people who came before her. And the one person who could explain what Camdan really is has started to wonder if he wants to know. Some men are written to be perfect. Some learn to be real. Available December 1, 2026. And I have even bigger news — I have finished the edits on Trial by Spirit, the final book in the series. December is going to be something. Here’s the complete arc: Trial by Fire — Book one. Where Shayla’s story begins. Available now and on Kindle Unlimited. Trial by Sea — Book two. Deeper secrets, underwater trials, trust pushed to its limit. Out now and on Kindle Unlimited. Trial by Earth — Book three. The pivot point. Darker, heavier, everything shifts. Out now and on Kindle Unlimited. Trial by Air — Book four. She flies. Out now and on Kindle Unlimited. If you’ve been waiting to binge the whole series — December is your moment. All five complete and ready. Anthologies — All Still Available Seasons of Magic: Mabon-Samhain — The autumn anthology. Six witches, spells gone wrong, magic that always has a price. Peak October reading — grab it before the season turns. The Call of the Sea — My story The Drowned Chorus — a marine bioacoustician, a remote island, a voice in the water, and the ancient impossible being behind it. Once Upon A Fairytale — My story Half-Coin Promise — two best friends, a split coin, a promise that holds through labyrinths all the way to their happily ever after. Seasons of Magic: Summer — My story The Flames of Lammas — emotional, transformative, the kind of magic that stays with you. From the Writing Cave Fall has fully arrived and it is glorious. The balcony door is open, the cats are rotating in and out like tiny sun-seeking executives, and the writing cave has that perfect cool-morning energy that makes everything feel more possible. This Sunday we do the great clock shuffle — gaining an hour that I would personally like to keep and redistribute more fairly across the rest of the year rather than having it vanish entirely come spring. But that is not how time works, apparently, and here we are. More importantly: it is Halloween this week. We get trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood and I genuinely love it — the costumes, the candy, the kids coming to the door. It is one of those small neighborhood moments that makes everything feel exactly right. The writing cave is humming. December is loaded. And I have a very pretty cover to celebrate. Thank you for being here through this wild, book-filled year. The finish line is in sight and I am so glad you’re running toward it with me. Happy Reading, Wendy P.S. December is doing a lot this year. Trial by Spirit — Shayla’s finale, the last book of the Richmond Academy series — drops in December. Not Your Book Boyfriend drops December 1st. And we lose an hour this weekend that I would very much like back before then. Pre-order both now so at least December arrives with books already waiting on your Kindle. Some things should go according to plan. |
