Three pen names and a lot of books. Here’s where to begin, based on what you love to read.
Love magic schools and slow burns?
Start with Trial by Fire (W.M. Dawson), Book 1 of the Richmond Academy Series. A phoenix who can’t make fire, one semester to prove herself, and a slow-burn romance that runs all five books. The full series is complete December 15, 2026.
Love Fae, urban fantasy, and found family?
Start with Not Your Maniac Pixie Dream Girl (W.M. Dawson), Book 1 of the Not As Written trilogy. A half-Pixie, half-Sidhe radio host, a Wendigo in San Diego, and the one cop willing to take her seriously.
Love gritty shifter romance?
Start with Born This Way (W.M. Dawson), the prequel, then read Brax. A wolf who can’t shift, a pack that sees her as property, and a grumpy badger shifter with nothing to lose.
Love werewolves?
Start with Sage Knight. Pick Starry Wolf for pack politics and a werewolf seer, or Frozen War for a fallen alpha who comes back from the dead to fight Hel herself.
Love motorcycle clubs and second chances?
Start with Fallon (Wendy Cheairs). An all-women MC, a cartel rescue across six hundred miles of desert, and two women with three years of unfinished business. For paranormal MC, try Welcome to the Jungle (W.M. Dawson).
Love contemporary rockstar romance?
Start with Cosmic by Celeste (Wendy Cheairs). A perfumer fighting to save her mentor’s legacy and a rockstar who came home to bury his mother, not become her.
Love epic fantasy with heartbreak?
Start with Staghelm (Wendy Cheairs), a standalone. A Fae treaty comes due, a prince chooses himself last, and a love outlasts the body it started in.
Love horror?
Start with The Alice Murders (Wendy Cheairs), a supernatural horror novella built on a real unsolved case. Want it bite-sized? Try the Holiday Horror Collection, flash horror for every holiday on the calendar.
