Brax, by nature, is a loner, a badger shifter who keeps to himself and his nose out of everyone’s business. That is, until Elle showed up in the fight club he worked out in, starting fights and searching for help to get back her son. His life took a sharp turn. He ended up with everything turned upside down.

Elle, born into one of the most dangerous werewolf packs in Canada, couldn’t shift and had been used for breeding before being tossed out on her ear. She had learned the hard way to survive, and now she was returning for her son, no matter the cost. She gained help from an unlikely badger before everything went completely wrong.

The pack she had come from was playing a much more dangerous game, and they discovered it went further than just trying to get her son back. Join Brax and Elle on a supernatural ride to save her son and the heart of a neutral shifter city and their lives.

This is a short Horror story about the Alice murders. It is one of my older stories but it will be free for everyone.

Blurb:
The Alice Murders remain, to this day, one of the strangest and unsolvable serial killings in Japan. From 1999-2005, a series of five killings took place. The five killings might have been completely different if not for the ‘calling card’ that the killer left at each crime scene. He would leave a playing card, varied from killing to killing, at each stage, in a prominent location with ‘Alice’ written on it in the victim’s blood. Few clues were found at each crime scene, and eventually, the case went cold.

This is a fictional retelling of each of these murders, a supernatural horror novella about these murders.

The End of 2020

I do not think I have ever been so happy to see the end of a year than I am to see the tail end of this one. Not that I am looking 2021 in the eye or trying to annoy 2021 in any way, shape, or form… gosh forbid we piss this upcoming year in the course last year came off like. Maybe this coming year could be less on fire, plague-ridden, doom scrolling, house locked, and ever other horrible things like 2020.

There were some positives in 2020. I have gotten published more. Spent a lot of time inside and seen way too much on Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, and other streaming services. Found out my brother can have phone conversations that last longer than a few minutes. Talked to people I haven’t in years and learned all about the joys of video calls to keep in contact with people, and I used a lot more of my unlimited phone calls and texting than I thought I would. I am grateful I have the technology to keep in contact with my friends and family worldwide to make sure everyone is holding up, and they can be given these difficult times and surviving. Celebrating our wins when we have them like friends having babies, getting news pets, publishing new books, or just not going ultimately bat shit crazy. Or even just to say Hi, we are surviving the madness. Not everything has been fantastic. People I know and love have had the virus. Thankfully most have made it through without too many horrific side effects so far. Maybe next year, I might get to see some people again in person, but I hope everyone stays safe and sound inside until then. Read more.

Devoured by Gluttony is part of an Alpha Romance group:

And my newest novella will be out in February of 2021 in Once Upon A Brothers Grimm

End of August!

It seems like I am still working on the kinks of the newsletter and setting up the website. One would think this should be simple and easy. Nope, it is not. Some parts work just great, and other parts seem to be sending information out into the void.

Hopefully, if you have signed up for my newsletter, it gets sent to you and works. If not, please feel free to leave a comment, and I will get it sorted out. Gosh, love technology. (Insert heavy sarcasm.)

It is finally the end of August, and I have been working on several new writing projects. At this time, I still only have the short story collection up, but I am working on new content. How fun for me and then there is the editing process, sending to editors and more rewriting, ah fun.

69276619_2859923740687595_3987352886332882944_nToday was the typical life kicking in by taking the youngest of our cats Grayson to vet for more shots, poor thing. He survived the drama of going to the vet and returning. Now he is sleeping to recover. Lucky kitten.

I am heading back into writing for the weekend. I have joined up with a group of some great ladies without covers for the Seven Deadly sins series, which will be paranormal romance released next November for my book. I got Gluttony, and it has been fun to write so far. There will be some other projects done beforehand, but this one is fun since it a shared universe with six other people and learning how to juggle this universe with several other creative people. It keeps getting bigger as we work on it.

This weekend seems to be quiet, writing time for me to get reorganized to see if I can see what needs to be done first and so forth. Lucky me. Organizing.

Until next time.

Horror Promo and Charity

I have been learning some of the odds and ends of the publishing world. Yes, I have read a lot about the subjects, but now I am learning to put several things in motion.

Today my first newsletter went out after gaining several new subscribers from a promotion horror site. See mine cover, it is right there with some other excellent authors. These guys have been great and supportive with information and helping each other out. This also gives my book a wider audience, building a network, and providing new people a chance to read my work. (Insert some random Kermit the Frog hands waving in the air with glee.)

So please feel free to check out new authors, read some horror and maybe share with others. That is always awesome.

If you want to support your local author more, leave a review of their work. It really does help us. (Amazon, Goodreads for me right now since I am currently on Kindle unlimited until October 2019.)

Another group has an anthology for charity, this one is romance, but it is for the support of Epilepsy which I was given for shits and giggles and had the MS come kick it back into high gear. BUT these ladies are donating time, writing, and energy for a great cause. Please check them out:  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VYB2KQB

Today’s blog is about other authors with a side of mine tossed in, but in the beautiful world of writing and publishing sharing is really caring.

Until next time.
